Ethan is Founder and Managing Partner of Roundsqaure Ventures which holds a portfolio of cause-driven companies specializing in digital content, online communities and book publishing.

Ethan is the Cofounder and Chairman of Flow Publishing. He and his company were awarded a US patent for the coupling of digital business books and online training. Flow Publishing partners with best selling authors to deliver their message to a larger audience. “Flow” is pioneering the new era of how we interact with digital books with over 50,000 daily views to its content websites.

Previously, Ethan was one of the founding partners of Prosper Publishing Holdings. He served as the company’s CEO/Chairman from its inception in 1999 until March of 2014. Under his leadership, Prosper became the largest one-on-one business coaching company in the world; training over 75,000 entrepreneurs in over 80 countries. He was responsible for over 5,000 employees during that span. In early 2014, Ethan lead the investment banking process for Prosper to be successfully acquired by Achieve Holdings with financial backing of Monterey Financial.

Ethan Coauthored the #1 New York Times bestselling book, “The One Minute Entrepreneur” with Ken Blanchard. He is also the Coauthor of the #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller, “Prosper, Create the Life You Really Want”. His books have been translated in over 20 different languages.

Ethan has been recognized as winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year award by Ernst and Young, 40 under 40, and as Top 100 venture backed Entrepreneur by Vspring Capital. Ethan’s work in the field of business growth has been published in TIME, Business Week, USA Today, Fox News, and others. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and the Owner President Management Program at Harvard University, and is an alumni of the Harvard Business School. He is a board member of the YPO (Young Presidents Organization) Scottsdale, Arizona chapter.

Mr. Simonton has a successful track record in business development. He’s founded, owned and operated numerous businesses in diverse market sectors. Beginning his career in real estate in 1996, he created a large portfolio of real estate assets and participated as principal in over 1000 real estate transactions totaling in excess of $300 million dollars. As Managing Director and CEO of Alliance Investment Group, he acquired a land portfolio consisting of more than 10,000 acres.

In 2010, Mr. Simonton recognized the strong investment fundamentals of the tech sector and began seeking out emerging technologies that could prove to be a disruptor in their industry. Mr. Simonton investments include Vizzda, a SaaS based commercial real estate information company where he is a Principal and serves as a Board Member. In addition he is a Principal and Board Member of TrustaFact whose proprietary software helps consumers determine the trustworthiness of any website. He has also made investments into the manufacturing and distribution sector where he was the Co-Founder of Fun Factory Candy & Novelty Company a manufacturer and importer of novelty candy and tech accessories, with products sold in over 40,000 retail locations throughout the United States and Canada.

In 2012, intrigued by the medical sector and the shortage of physicians caused by legislative changes and an aging population, Mr. Simonton felt timing was right and partnered with the owners of Urgent Care Extra. Mr. Simonton made a significant investment and help lead the expansion into the Nevada Market, becoming the largest urgent care healthcare provider in the State. The company generated significant interest from private equity investors and Mr. Simonton eventually sold his ownership interest in 2015.

Mr. Simonton is currently seeking opportunities in the medical sector including urgent cares, senior housing, pain management clinics and technology companies.
